Job Duties:
i) Analysis of reports received from Statistics Division, Commerce and State Bank.

ii) Study the distribution system and marketing operation of essential commodities.

iii) Evolving methodology for decision making and preparation of technical papers in the field of prices particularly the micro problems.

iv) Evaluation of cost studies carried out by out side agencies Investigation marketing operations, distribution costs of essential goods which are to be watched/ controlled under policy of the Government.

Qualification/Experience required:
Associate Member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants. OR Chartered Accountant. OR Second Class or Grade C Master Degree in Commerce / Business Administration with Economics or Statistics as an elective subject in the Degree course.

EXPERIENCE: Five years experience of Costing system analysis, Evaluation of cost studies and/ or financial control. In case of ACMA or Chartered Accountant the period of experience will be only two years.

Note:
Candidates with higher academic qualifications/ standard shall be preferred and length of experience shall be relaxable by four years in case of holders of Ph.D. Degree and two years in case of M.Phil in the relevant field.
